At Top Gear’s live motor show this year, there will certainly be a lot of cars present, but this year we will see something special. The Citroen Survolt all electric racing car.This stunning machine features a full electric drivetrain that is capable of producing 300bhp! The Citroen Survolt will join the DS3 Racing team at the motoring show at London’s Earls Court later this year.
The Citroen Survolt concept has been specially designed and developed to feature a tubular chassis. With a flat belly and an extractor fan to keep the batteries cool and full carbon bodywork this beast can be propelled from 0-60mph in under 5 seconds and power on to a top speed of 162mph.
People that go to the Top Gear Live show will be able to get intimate with the production ready Citroen DS3 Racing. This special edition of the DS3 features a turbo charged 1.6 litre THP engine, producing 207hp and a max torque of 275Nm. This is all based on the top end DSport model.
