Honda Parts Supply Recovering

Honda Motor parts supply recovery is starting to gain tractions again, as Honda plan to bring forward normal production after the Tsunami and earthquake disrupted the supply chain of parts.

Honda chief financial officer, Fumihiko Ike said “We want to move up our schedule for returning to normal but that depends on the supply of parts, but we are seeing recovery speed up in those supplies."

Honda also plans to announce their earnings forecast for the current fiscal year ahead of the shareholder meeting on 23rd June.

Since the devastation that took place in Japan on March 11th, car manufacturers slashed production because of the shortage of supply from part makers that were affected.  Quite a few are still in critical condition.

Honda still has limited electronic components, colouring materials and rubber parts.

Honda said they expected full vehicle production to fully return to levels planned by the end of the year.

On Tuesday, Ike said that this was the worst case scenario, however, suggesting the situation at the car maker could be better than previously expected.

Now more parts are available, you can buy your new or used Honda Basingstoke without the worry you won’t have a part available if your car goes wrong.

The devastation that took place in Japan come at the worst time for Honda as they just remodeled their popular Honda Civic model and was counting on it to push sales growth this year.
