At the Commercial Vehicle Show, Ford took the wraps of its iconic SportVan – The Ford Transit Super SportVan.
For this project, Ford teamed up with some of the largest to the smallest from the options list. The SuperVan possesses a five cylinder 3.2L, 200PS Duratorq TDCi power-plant that has been forced into the short wheel base (SWB) transit for huge power to weight ratio.
This engine is usually found in the larger models like the 4.25 ton Transit Jumbo which delivers an impressive 470Nm of torque at 1,700rpm which is fixed up to a six-speed manual gearbox.
The exterior has Le Mans styled body stripes, twin exhaust system and allow wheels. Standard safety features include ABS, ESP and airbags for the passenger and driver.
You can buy a used van Harlow if this is the kind of thing you’re looking for.
The safety features also include power deadlocks, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlights and fog lights on the front.
The downside to this is, Ford have said this is only a one off build!
