JD Power Survey ranks Fiat 22nd

This year’s JD Power Survey Consumer votes have been released. This year the survey ranked Fiat 22nd in the overall list, which is a decent step forward by the Italian brand. 22nd position is the highest Fiat has achieved to date, the result can be put down to new Fiat 500 and the revolutionary Fiat TwinAir engine.

You can buy a brand new (or used) Fiat 500 at your local Fiat Hampshire dealer, and while your there, make sure to take a test drive.

Three years ago, Fiat was placed in 299th position, then last year, in 26th position. In the survey’s City Car category, Fiat 500 finished 2nd while the Fiat Panda came 4th. JD Power commented, "Owners rated the Fiat 500 as more appealing than any other city car available, especially because of its retro styling and impeccable driving manners. Down from second spot in last year's survey, but the seven-year-old Panda is still showing well. Owners found it easy to get into and out of, and praised Fiat dealers for their servicing."

This improvement in the customer satisfaction survey is a result of Fiat's drive to improve the service provided by their dealer network, along with improved reliability, new technology such as MultiAir and TwinAir engines and the eco:Drive fuel saving equipment.

Andrew Humberstone, managing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK said, "Clearly, there is a massive amount of work still to be done. However, the positive results of the task we initiated three years ago to improve customer satisfaction in Fiat and its products are starting to show through."

He went on to add, "We know there is a long way to go. But I am sure that these last two years of steadily improving results will continue to be seen in future JD Power surveys."
