If you haven’t heard by now that Prince William and Kate Middleton are getting married, where have you been!?
I’ve been thinking and I wonder what kind of wedding car they will have on their big day? Aston Martin Cygnet, Mini Countryman, a Volkswagen Polo or even a Peugeot.
Let’s look at each car and see the pros and cons of them being the Royal Wedding Car.
Aston Martin Cygnet - An ultra modern favourite of the Royals most loved car marque.
Pros – It looks like Daddy’s shrunken down version of the Aston Martin DB6. Not bad fuel economy!
Cons – Kate’s wedding dress won’t all fit in, her tiara will hit the roof and they both will look silly.
The Mini Countryman – A true Great British icon! Just re-invented.
Pros – Was once British! Perfect for the future King of England.
Cons – Now owned by Germans.
Volkswagen Polo – Royalties most loved sport.
Pros – Has enough space in the boot to put the new mother-in-law’s Corgi’s.
Cons – Polo isn’t their favourite sport.
Peugeot 508 – Brand spanking new Peugeot!
Pros – Enough room to fit Mummy, Daddy the Corgi’s, James the Butler and Kate’s tiara.
Cons - So new it’s not even out yet so you will have to pre-order it at Eddy Grimstead.
So the decision has been made. We will go for the new Peugeot 508 and you can buy one of these little buggers from Eddy Grimstead. Don’t forget new Peugeot 508 Essex! Register your details now before they all go.
Jolly good!
